1996年👨👧，Williams教授因其“对生物材料科学做出的杰出贡献”被欧洲生物材料学会授予“乔治温特奖（GEORGE WINTER AWARD）”；2003年被英国生物材料学会授予“总统奖（the Presidential Prize）”。
